  5.     its life. Anything from games, business software, books and
  6.     any other AMOS related articles.

  25.     Well what a lovely little book this is. 136 pages of hints,
  26.     tips and ideas that you will find valuable. As the title of the
  27.     book says it is truly 'AMOS in Action'. You are taken from the
  28.     design stage of a little game called Marvin the Martian and are
  29.     gently brought through to the end of the project. A list of
  30.     procedures are described in clear and consice detail, as well
  31.     as program structure. This book is well written and you don't
  32.     get bogged down with technical jargon like some other books i
  33.     could mention. You can also send of for the full game Marvin
  34.     the Martian which comes with source code and is free to buyers
  35.     of this brilliant book. Just think you are paying your money
  36.     for your book and plus the cost of a stamp to get your disk,
  37.     all for under twenty quid. what a bargain.

  39.     I have just been informed about a further book of Anne & Len
  40.     Tuckers called  AMOS in Education', which if it is as well
  41.     written and as informative as this book should be something.

  52.     Wonderfully big! the sheer power of this baby is breath
  53.     taking(its even faster when compiled!). With over 200 new
  54.     commands, there is simply no excuse for any AMIGA owner not to
  55.     have a copy of AMOS. Its not as fast or powerful as assembler,
  56.     but it's not fair of it. Plus it is a lot easier to access then
  57.     assembler. The programmer, Francois Lionet has really improved
  58.     AMOS since its earlier incarnation a few years back. As stated
  59.     earlier with over 200 new commands which brings the total to
  60.     well over 700 and with a much nicer lookng and easier menu
  61.     systems, this is simply a joy to use.

  63.     The manual is well written by Mel Croucher and Steven Hill,
  64.     with nice examples and programs to use. Heres a list of just
  65.     some of the new features: Arexx support, Med music, New object
  66.     editor and generally faster and smother operation. If your a
  67.     beginner to AMOS then i would approach this with caution. Its
  68.     not an easy level into AMOS programming. You may be better of
  69.     with 'Easy AMOS', but hardened programmers should search and
  70.     buy this immediately.
